10 reasons why to love Young Frankenstein(1974)

NOTE: I'm not including punchlines or major jokes, that's a whole other list waiting to happen.

Mel Brooks' Young Frankenstein is simply the greatest spoof all time. A film that's just as good as the 1931 original and every bit as memorable. Here's 10 reasons why.

1. Gene Wilder,The only actor who could get away with that much yelling.

2.Marty Feldman playing the best version of Igor of all time.

3.Teri Garr, here in her pre-Mr. Mom days

4.Peter Boyle as the monster/creature

5.Madeline Kahn, words can't do her justice

6.The Fact they got Gene Hackman to play the blind man.

7. The creation of the monster scene, tho theres one in every Frankenstein movie this one reaily stands outs.

8.Tie between: The overacting/comedy timing and Cloris Leachman as Fran Blucher. Whinnying from horses!

9. the musical dance scene to putting on the rittz

10.The father and son relationship between the doctor and the monster. Usually the doctor in these films doesn't like it's creation, so this is a great change of pace.
