John Waters' Pink Flamingos is a trashy funny as hell stone fest of perverted minds masterpiece.When it hit in the 70's it was strange hit, that later joined the midnight movie such The Rocky Horror Picture Show(1975) and Eraserhead(1977). But to me this movie is the king and queen of midnight cult movies(hope you liked the pun).It's the perfect movie for a gross out party and to prove yourself as a cult movie fan.
Here's a list of some of the reasons why this such a odd,repulsive, and enjoyable movie:
1.Just Divine him/herself
2.Edith Massey as the egg lady.
3.John Waters as the narrator.
4.David Lochary and his bright blue hair, flashing might also happen.
5.Hiding steak action from Divine.
6.nothing beats the love of a man and a woman plus a chicken and those watching.
7.Joy of feet
8.the mind numbing acting of the kidnapped hitchhikers.
9.greatest trailer trash birthday of all time!
10.talking rear ends
11.Divine surprise in the box
12.House licking attack!
13.trailer burning action!
14.Trail scene.
15. and of course the ending scene......which just needs to be seen.
